A UK survey of IFAs involved in
Pension advice shows that a large proportion of advisors expect their existing clients to reduce the amount they are investing in their pension pots this year. The survey from MetLife Europe reveals that around a third of surveyed IFAs expect pension investment levels to fall back in 2008 by an average of 21%.
Against a backdrop of rising prices and stock market nerves this is unlikely to be a surprise to many. When times are tight pension planning is often the first item to get hit.
